Dan grew up in the Pacific Northwest where he started playing the guitar at age 13. After high school he went on to study Classical Theory, Performance and Audio Engineering in Vancouver, BC.
Shortly after graduating he traveled to Nashville, TN via Greyhound. 36 hours on a bus with nothing but a duffel and his guitar.
8 years later, Dan is still in Tennessee and now operates out of his home studio, The Ranger Station, where he lives and works with his wife, Emily, in Ashland City, TN.
Dan has worked with several artists both across the United States and in Canada. Genres span from Singer/Songwriter, Folk, Blues, Country and Americana
Some of my personal musical influences are:
Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, Eric Church, The Allman Brothers, Dierks Bentley & Waylon Jennings.
